An unwanted search engine has taken over my search
engines. ClearSearch.net is set and I cannot get rid of it!
Even when I click on the customize button, it pops up!

I also have this same problem. Searchitnow.com has taken
over my browser. i have tried coyping files from another
computer into the IE folder after deleting it's contents
and nothing changed. I also reinstalled it via the sp1
and it is still there. Any Suggestions.

Spyware Alert!

Anti-virus vendors are now on the Spyware "bandwagon".
There are some of us that are of the opinion that you should not
trust your A-V software *alone* at this juncture to remove Spyware.

Mike,
Spot on, as usual <g>
But, "keywords" (the "key" to Spyware lookups)
['ClearSearch' variant]
[' HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLRSCH (ClearSearch variant)]

As I was ranting here, I'm not using the Symantec database yet, as I am not sure
of the accuracy of the information.
