Internet Explorer Problem

I use IE6 with XP Home and SP2.
When I try to open .MOV files, using Media Player Classic, IE prevents the
file from opening, with the message "To protect your security IE has
restricted this file from showing active content...".
How can I permanently disable this restriction. I click on the "Allow"
button, but the problem just arises again next time.
Overall, I find XP _rarely_ obeys an instruction/option of this nature.
Frustrating!
TIA,

Jim.

There is a checkbox to allow local active content in IE, tools, options
advanced tab. scroll to security area. see top checkbox.
