IE won't allow me to access webmail through earthlink, nor can I seem to get
it through Outlook Express. The webmail site initially loads okay; the secure
/ nonsecure pop up rises / then the window suddenly redirects to my home
page, starts blinking frantically, (!) complete with hourglass, and says that
there is an error with regard to that address. CNN.com seems to behave in a
similar manner. Other sites seem to be okay, but parts of them contain boxes
with the words, "this page will not display." I have cleaned winsock and the
registry, to no avail. It was recommended that I reinstall Internet Explorer
-- I have downloaded SP 2 -- should I follow the recommendations on Petri's
website? Thanks in advance for your help!
