Internet Explorer Has to shut down message

Does anyone have this problem also. I have been on with numberous techs and
they can't seem to find the problem. Everytime I'm surfing sites I'll get a
message stating that Internet Explorer has experienced a problem and must
shut down. I've even gotten it on Microsofts home pages.

One tech I talked to set me up another user name. When I keep getting kicked
off with my name, I log onto the other user and all goes well. He said
something must be running in the background that always kicks me off.

So I downloaded Windows Defender to see if that would correct the problem.
So far it has found a Trojan horse in my start up file, that it won't delete
properly, I keep getting it everytime I boot up, and, I'm still getting
kicked off the sites. I also updated from version 6 to version7 of Internet
Explorer but just did that this a.m. and haven't had a chance to see if that
corrected the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. I really don't want to format the hard drive
and reinstall all the programs I have on there now.

First remove all temporarily junk with CCleaner
http://www.ccleaner.com
Then try Ewido for removal:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Go for scans in safe mode and also add Ewido and Ccleaner as Ewido performs
great with Trojans and Ccleaner will clear your temp folders where alot of
malware hides installers.
