Hi! This is my second post on this topic. I get the famous, "Internet
Explorer Has Stopped Working," error WHENEVER I try to download a file using
IE7 under Vista.
This happens on ALL attempts to download a file that I've tried - anywhere.
Of course, Firefox works fine.
I've tried turning Protection Mode off on IE7, creating a second Admin
account, turning UAC off, running virus/maware/spyware scans, re-registering
DLLs, even reinstalling Vista Ultimate! I still get the error whenever I
click a link to download a file!
I installed Vista Ultimate from MSDN Subscriber Downloads as an upgrade from
Windows XP SP2 (actually, I've done this twice). I'd appreciate if anybody
could help me with this! Thanks!
The error report mentions ntdll.dll, if that's any help...
Thanks again!
