internet explorer error message

I'm having a very annoying problem, whenever i'm browsing
the internet i'm rudely interrupted by an error message
that reads "Internet Explorer, unspecified error" this
particular message pops up about 200 or so times one
right after another very fast and when this happens my
computer freezes until the messages clear by themselves,
these messages appear for about 30 seconds and then they
clear, what should I do???

I'd run CWShredder first then Spybot.
