Internet Explorer Error Message

While using my Internet Explorer Browser (Version 6), I
keep getting the following message:
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information
you were working on might be lost.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you can send to help
us improve Internet Explorer. We will treat this report
as confidential and anonymous.
Send Error Report Don't Send

This is getting to be a real nuisance. If I click
on "Don't Send", my browser window closes. I've tried
clicking on "Send Error Report" to send it to Microsoft,
but nothing has happened and I'm still getting these pop-
up error messages.

Does anybody have any idea how this can be eliminated?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).

I too get premature shut down messages. Most are Runtime Errors shut down..this is very annoying and time consuming. Have you experienced this shut down?

This has been confirmed as parasites.

It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6. Source:
