Internet Explorer encounterd a problem

When I try to exit out of internet explorer 6.0 i get the message Internet
Explorer has encounterd a problem and needs to close. The error signature is
Appname-iexplore.exe, appver 6.0.2800.1106, Modver 6.0.2800.1400, Offset
0000a110,modname shdocvw.dll. No matter how many times I send report, it
keeps happening when I exit.

I had exactly the same problem right up to reading your post and was
perturbed to see no one had replied. Later, reading through similar problem
postings I read one relating to shdocvw.dll and a reply indicating how they
had resolved the problem. More to the point a footnote added that it had
reappeared after he had added the AOL TOOLBAR. He removed the bar and the
problem again went away. I decided to do the same and, would you believe, I
no longer get the message!! If you have the AOl Toolbar shown in IE 6.0 I
suggest you remove it and see if this cures your problem also. Worth a try.

Thanks, I have been experiencing this for awhile now and removing the AOL
Toolbar fixed it for me finally. Thank you!!!
