Internet Explorer does not work

Hello,
I updated WinXP browser to IE7 and when I tried to use it, it would crash so
I uninstalled IE7 in the "add\remove programs" and went back to IE6 but it
also crashes every time I try to use it.
I have network connection, I can ping the router, and the Internet such as
Yahoo.com and msn.com from the command-line, but when I fire up IE it crashes?
I removed the malware with 3 differerent products.
I went into the %windir%\Inf\ie.inf folder and reinstalled but it did not
fix it.

Thank you.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22,
http://castlecops.com/forum67.html, or other appropriate forums for review
by an expert in such matters, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
