Internet Explorer crashing

When I visit the site (theoildrum.com) IE will either close part way through
opening the site or when I click on a particular thread on the site the "IE
has encountered errors and must close " message appears. I have turned off
all add ons and disabled 3rd party programs. Have also run the full system
service scan without resolving this issue. I have been using this site for
more than 12 months without problems but now.
here are the last two error reports from event viewer.

I have just tried accessing that site on both IE & Firefox. Both
"arrived safely":)
What version of IE are you running? Mine is v6.0.2900. Maybe an IE
upgrade?
It's worth a try, Mastodon

Hi sandy58,

Thanks for your input.
I am also using IE v6.0.2900.2180 sp2 etc. I have another PC running
linux/firefox which also had no problems getting on the site.

Just tried again on this PC, could access the site but as soon as I tried to
go to the full post "sorry we have to close..." message and IE reopens with
the online crash analysis page telling me the " error caused by add-ons"
which of course are all turned off.

Just a little twitchy.....
