I have a virus which causes my dial up connection to
become disconnected when I am using Internet explorer.
(Probably CoolWebSearch which iI constantly kill but
always comes back). To get around the problem I log into
the local server, IE not on, go to my Outlook express
inbox and look for any mail with an internet link in it.
I click on the link . The Internet explorer task bar
comes up and I am free to use the internet without a
disconnection. My question is why, when I get to the IE
taskbar by clicking on an email link, I don't get the
disconnect that happens when I actually turn on Internet
Explorer?
