internet explorer 7

I recently received a automatic update for internet explorer 7 and now I
cannot access the internet through it. I have to use mozilla firefox to
access and leave this help note. I have treid downloading and installing it
several times but i get error message that IE could not establish a
connection. When I run the popup diagnostics it says all connections are
good. Some of the sites I must access for work use IE exclusively. I had not
experienced any problems with IE6 yet now I'm unable to use htese sites that
will only work with IE. As being rather inexperienced with this internal
conflict diagnostics and fixes please try to keep answer in a easy to follow
format as I need to get this fixed but don't know why or how to. Thanks for

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:

Not possible. You had to purposely download it as it is still in BETA.
Go to Add/Remove and uninstall it.
