For people located in the UK using Windows XP...
Can someone do the following for me please:

1. Windows Key + R -> msinfo32
2. Internet Settings -> Internet Explorer -> Summary
3. Look at the Language and then post below what the language is, please

I'd really appreciate it!

Thank You itsmen :)
That's what mine is, so I guess it's meant to be like this? :confused: Are others from the UK got 'English [United States]' as the language?

Yes its the default for Windows OS`s even in the UK when you install the OS have you noticed the language is set to USA and as the keyboard layout, and you have to change it to whatever;)

Yeah I notice that :(
I wonder why it keeps to US with IE then. I wondered if it was meant to be that because my Windows Update sometimes fails and I've never noticed that before I formatted my computer, I just wondered why it could be failing {thought maybe the language had something to do with it}. Hmm, back to thinking! :confused:

Just some simple rules for you to remember ...

Microsoft is the only country in the World

... they know not that EnglishUS in NOT a real language, but think everybody can read it. ;)

Another one ...

everybody owns a Laptop

... why else would we suffer the stupid default power mode settings.

Same rule applies for the MS 'exchange rate', $100 = £100 ...

A US keyboard has no £ symbol ... they are fragged trying to use the € symbol. :rolleyes:
