internet explorer 6 on my computer got corrupted. Can I download and install
again? I uuse Windows XP oerating system.

If you have WinXP SP2 reinstall that.

Make sure your anti-virus is turned off.
The section
Windows XP and Windows XP SP1: Edit the registry and install Internet
Explorer 6
works on earlier versions of Windows.
If you are using WinXP SP2 you will have to uninstall that first.
