Internet Explorer 6-sp2

IE locks up when I enter an address in the field and press return or click on
the address field down arrow to access a preiously visited site. I have
checked for updates and I am current. I removed both my Google tool bar and
my Yahoo tool bar and still encounter consistent lock ups every time. I also
disable all of the toolbar add ons that I am not familiar with. Still no
help. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks

This is probably due to a corrupted History folder. See these sites on how
to manually delete your History folder - it will be recreated as empty upon
restart:
