Internet Explorer 6 does not show full url on status bar

Good day,
When hovering over an image, such as LivePerson image on our homepage -
www.reico.com, in Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2, the status bar only
displays about two-thirds of the actual URL, and I get red X over
image. When I view it in Firefox or Netscape, full URL appears as well
as image. Can anyone tell me if there's a registry entry or security
update that causes this problem?
Thank you,
Sara

If you are talking about the "live chat" link in the lower right of the site
you mentioned, the full URL for that link is:

http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc...imageUrl=http://www.reico.com/images/livechat

But the status bar line in IE can show only so many characters, so the link
looks like this on my IE (wide-screen display at 1152x864 res):

http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc...e=43776694&byhref=1&imageUrl=http://www.reico

Don't know exactly why you are not getting the link image (it's a .gif image
type) - but looking at the source of the page, it would appear that it's
being served up by scripting from the image bank here:
http://www.reico.com/images/livechat/
Shows up fine here. Do you have scripting disabled?

Jon,
Thank you for your quick response. What exactly should I check in IE
security settings to make sure this is enabled?
Thank you,
Sara

In IE Tools...Internet Options....Security tab, click Internet Zone to
highlight...Custom button.
