Dear All Technet Community Members and MVPs,

Greetings to all, I have a problem sharing internet connection on two
personal computers, One PC1 I have a FAST Internet Connection which is Also a
LAN and its IP Address is 192.168.10.22 this IP address is my External
network which is Basically ISA Server running ...

Now I put another Ethernet Card on same PC and Run Setup Home and Small
office network I select LAN1 as Internet connection and LAN2 to my Internal
network connection ....

Now, I take a STP twisted PAIR wire and made cross connections and connect
to PC2 ....

Now I test connection by Sending ping request to PC 1 and its working fine
.....
Now I run Network Setup Wizard Again on PC 2 and configure as a Client and
Restart my System ...

Now I can share files and printers also connect remotely but don't share
Internet connection can any one knows why its happening like that??

What mistake I make I wrote the whole procedure in detail ...

Please reply in detail
I will very thankfull to all of you!!!

These tests should help you find the problem:

1. On PC1, right click the LAN2 connection and click Status | Support
| Details. It should show:

IP Address: 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: none
DNS Server = none

2. On PC2, right click the local area network connection and click
Status | Support | Details. It should show:

IP Address: 192.168.0.x (1<x<255)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS Server = 192.168.0.1

3. If #1 and #2 are right, open a command prompt window on PC2 and
enter these lines. Each one should get four replies:

ping 192.168.0.1
ping 216.239.39.99
ping google.com

4. If #1-#3 are right, enter these addresses in Internet Explorer on
PC2. They should both take you to the Google web page:

http://216.239.39.99
http://google.com
