Internet Connection Firewall

Mike W.

I had some difficulty getting a WinXP pro client setup for
Symantec Antivirus which I traced to & was able to resolve
by disabling the ICF. This particular client has no need
for the ICF while plugged into the company LAN, but while
surfing the 'net at home he'd like to enable.

If I disable the ICF on the 'local area connection'
network connection, but enable it on his ISP's PPPoE
connection, will he still be protected?

Thanks.
