Internet connection drops

Hello,

My wife's computer has this problem: the internet connection stops
working after some period of inactivity. It works fine after boot-up,
then if she doesn't use it for awhile it stops working. She noticed that
it happens after screensaver comes on. The internet provider sees no
problem with the connection. It is a permanent connection (cable modem,
not dial-up). What can be causing this and how can I fix it?

WinXP Home, SP2, all patches, ZoneAlarm firewall, Kaspersky AV (doesn't
find any infection)

Mine does the same- it just started happening actually, so I suspect it
was an update in wind xp or something. I will lose connection either
over night or after several hours of inactivity. It will come back if I
wait a few minutes after the screensaver goes away.

Win XP Pro, updated, zonealarm
