Hello i've got an internet connection via adsl. now i want to conncet to the
computer of my bank to do internet banking. this works fine. i dial in and my
internet connection stays on. but if i want to share the dial-up connection
it set's the ip of the "server" computer to 192.168.0.1. when this happens my
internet connection fails. because it get's it's ip from my router. which is
in the range 10.0.0.138
is there an option to share my dial up connection and keep my internet
connection alive?

Hmmm, probably by reconfiguring the router, disabling DHCP, statically
configuring all machines, and configuring static routes you could make this
work. However:

1. I'm not sure the behavior you are experiencing is quite as you describe:
"i dial in and my internet connection stays on." Are you saying that you
have a machine on which you can dialup an Internet connection to your bank,
do Internet banking over the modem and simultaneouly surf the Internet over
a dsl connection - maybe with 2 different browsers open? Maybe this is some
kind of direct dial rather than an Internet connection?

2. Most people would absolutely not want to share an Internet banking
connection.

3. Why don't you use the dsl connection for Internet banking?
