MS Office Keyboard is not supported with IntelliType Pro v5.4.
You need to download and install the following:

IntelliType Pro Keyboard Software Version 5.0 for Windows XP

Carey is right, IT 5.0 is the last that supports the Office KB. [Why MS,
why? It's not that old a product, and there must be tens of thousands of
them out there, why abandon it???].

If you do install IT 5.0, and you're also using IntelliPOINT, you may find
that you need to reinstall POINT after installing TYPE, or the keyboard's
scroll bar and the six buttons around it won't work.

use this link to find which version of IP and IT you should be using for
your product(s):

Note that the latest version number is not always the right choice. The
TrackBall Explorer is also an "abandoned" product. And you can still buy
those pretty much everywhere. Go figure...

[Oh yeah, the above link's chooser won't even list the Office Keyboard;
that's REALLY abandoned!]
