Hello,
Is any one having this problem

I am running windows Vista Ultimate (Final Release) and Intelli-mouse 6.1
software for my mouse. The problem I am having is that the mouse will ant
various times do a double click for a single click. I've tried changing the
click speed and no change. The mouse works fine on an XP machine. Any HELP
Please

Thanks
Mark

I can use ms laser 6000, vista bussiness rtm and mouse software 6.1, all
about ok. Are you use a RC version for vista?

No, it is the final version and and it still has the same problem. (Had no
internet for a bit). I've tried to re-install the the mouse software and
still the same problem. Any ideas?

Thanks

I also had the same problem with my ms wireless laser 6k. My problem also
extended to being locked up on initial boot up. I would have to reboot my
machine 4 or 5 times before my ms mouse would actually work. I also had the
unresponsiveness mentioned and I was frustrated. This lack of functionality
is similar to the ms wireless keyboard I bought last year and I ended up
replacing it with a logitech wireless keyboard which has never given me any
trouble. I replaced my ms mouse with a logitech mx revolution wireless and
haven't had any trouble whatsoever. No loss of functionality, no
sluggishness and no lockups. It's sad that ms can't even support its own
hardware with proper drivers and functionality but 3rd party vendors support
their own products in vista.

I was having a problem with wheel functionality in Vista x64 using
IntelliPoint 6.1 until I chose a different mouse profile than the one I
actually bought. I have a Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 and I changed the mouse
profile to a Wireless Optical Mouse 2000. Everything works great, now. The
change seemed to disabled my side-to-side scrolling capability of my
mouse-wheel, but I never used that feature anyway. I don't have the
dexterity to press the mouse-wheel laterally without scrolling up or down
and mashing the middle-button.
