Insufficient Disk Space ?

I ran BC Wipe for the 1st time, and during the cleanup, I got a window that
said I was running critically low on disk space ( I have a 40 GB HD w/ 8.52
GB used). I went to the System restore tab & it says Sys Restore has been
suspended because of insufficient disk space, that I must free up 200 MB of
Disk Space. I restarted my PC, but the message remains the same. I'm not
sure if I should choose Compress old files or not, but even so, it all
doesn't amount to 200 MB.
Any ideas what I should do to get System Restore back up & running?

Is the drive partitioned? If so, what partitions do you have and what
amount of space is in them? Sounds like you may have something taking up
space on the drives but I want to make sure you arent just out of apce on a
C drive.
