Instant Search and conditions

In Advanced find, I can search for messages such with "conditions"
such as:

contains,
is (exactly),
doesn't contain,
word starts with,
phrase matches,
is empty, and
is not empty.

Are we able to do this with Instant Search, too? If so, how?

Only by being creative. Contains is the default - use quotes to force is
exact. A space before or after for starts with or ends with, although this
doesn't seem to work with the new search engine. (" keyword" or "keyword ")
