Installing XP Pro

I am the registered owner of my XP Pro software. It is the full version,
not OEM. However, It is the original version XP Pro. Once installed, I have
to apply all the Service Packs, etc. My motherboard went bad, so I bought a
new one along with new memory and two 320GB drives.

When I try to install XP on the new hard drive, it does not see it as 320GB.
I think it only formats the drive as 128GB. Is there something I can do to
make it format the full capacity of the drive?

Thanks for any help.

I would proceed with the Install and once you have SP2 installed you
will be able to add the remaining Gig's of the hard
drive. Just rt click on MyComputer>select Manage>Disk Management. You
will see the remaining space as Unallocated
Space. You can then create another partition using that space.

You might want to create an XP Pro installation CD that has
Service Pack 2 "slipstreamed" into the files.

Create a Slip Stream version of Windows XP

Here are some of the files you'll need to obtain in order to
follow this procedure:
