Installing Windows 2000 on a Windows 98 machine

Dear All,

I have a machine with an OS win 98. I want to install Windows 2000
professional in my machine without removing the existing win 98. In the
installation procedure I selected the 'clean installation' and I proceeded
with the default values. After the first restarting, the multi OS menu came.
I selected the MS Win 2000 setup. Then suddenly a message appears "This
system is not a supported platform." and the system becomes hanged. What I
have to do, Expect your help.

regards

Possibly your PC doesnt meet win2k hw requirements, or the win2k disk is an
OEM copy, tied to a specific sys.
