Installing Visual Studio .NET 2003 on Vista Build 5456

Hello,
I am currently testing the 5456 build of Vista and am noticing the
following errors when I attempt to install Visual Studio .NET 2003 :
1) When running the setup.exe file from the DVD and following through with
the prerequisites part of the it fails when installing both the .NET
Framework 1.1 and J# Redistributable. I have look around at other places
which suggest I install the .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 with my build of Vista,
and that setup fails stating that it doesn't see the .NET Framework 1.1 on my
computer and therefore cannot install the service pack. I also tried to
install the .NET Framework 1.1 and it does not install properly either. Note
: I was running all of the installation programs under administrator rights,
so I doubt it is a rights issue. Any ideas on how to install Visual Studio
..NET 2003 Pro on Vista Build 5456?

The public.windows.vista newsgroup folks are still on build 5384. For
assistance with 5456 try your TechBeta newsgroups (the beta.longhorn ng's).
