installing older drivers

Hello All,

I would like to install Microsoft Intellipoint 4.12 mouse drivers on an Win
XP machine. I have tried to uninstall the mouse drivers XP currently uses
(HDI Compliant Mouse MS v.5.1.2600.10) and have try to install the older
drivers but XP keeps going back to the newer driver. The reason I want to
do this is because the older drivers have the scrolling capability option
with AutoCAD R14.

Is there a way to do this?

Mazzie, if you have the older drivers rt click on MyComputer>Select
Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Mouse and other pointing Devices>PS2
Mouse. rt click and select Update Driver>Select Install from List or
Specific Location>select Dont search I will choose the driver to
install>Have Disk or
if driver is on List then choose it. You may still need to point to where
the drivers are located.
