Installing old games on XP

Will games that are compatible with Windows 95 still work on Windows XP? I
want to order this wonderful kids game that I played as a kid for my niece,
but I want to make sure it will work before I order it. The game is called
The Magic School Bus Explores the Ocean... more info can be found here....

That educational software is working on the Windows XP PC's
donated to the following library by Bill & Melinda Gates:
