installing hp photosmart C5180 All-in-one

i've been trying to install my hp photosmart C5180 all-in-one printer to my
toshiba notebook with windows vista os. it keeps telling me that the
operating system is not compartible so it can't install. I"m not sure what to
do. am i meant to get a new cd? or is there something i should fiddle with?
it also says i should log in as an administrator and install it, but i'm
using my administrator account already. please HELP!!! i'm frustrated!!! :(

Go to HP's site download the vista driver you should be ok then.

thanks. I just downloaded a driver from the hp website,but i'm still having
the same problems. :(

HP has been VERY slow to put out any drivers and the ones they have put out
don't work well.

Did you verify that the driver you downloaded is a Vista compatible driver?
Did you check the support site for your printer for Vista information?

I have the same printer. The last driver update from HP seemed to make things
worse. I hope this help I dont belive its your note book. I'm running vista
32 bit on a desktop computer I built. Keith
