Hello All,
I am having a problem running an installation of windows xp from the
network. Here are the steps have I done:
1. Copyed the I386 directory to network file server, and shared the folder
out.
2. Run system manager to created a unattent.txt file and put into the i386
dir.
3. Created a network boot disk from ghost disk creater. Mapping to the
share were the I386 directory is.
4. Go to the traget PC then boot from the disk, mapping OK!
5. run the command from the share:
winnt /s:l:\ /u:unattend.txt (by the way L: is mapped to \\srvr\i386)
Then I get this error:
An Internal setup error has occured.
Could not find a place for a swap file.
Setup cannot continue. Press ENTER to exit.
How do i get around this? The hard drive is a new 20gb drive,
unpartitioned.
Thanks for your time and help.
Nick
