"Installing catalogs" hangs during FBA!

Hi!

I am sticking with this now a few days and don´t have any idea, what
to try else. I searched this newsgroup and at microsofts site, but no
clue at all.

During the first 20 seconds of FBA system hangs during "Installing
catalogs". Mouse moving and window dragging is still possible, but
there is no progress, just showin "Installing catalogs" all the time.

My FBALOG shows this:

2:28:32 AM - [FBASetProgressText] Setting PNP Flag...
2:29:00 AM - [FBASetProgressText] Initializing...
2:29:00 AM - [CallEntryPointThread] C:\Windows\FBA\FBALIB.DLL,

2:29:05 AM - [FBAAddOrRemoveTestCertificate] Real signed build!
2:29:05 AM - [FBASetProgressText] Installing Catalogs...

Thats all. No error, no hint, just this.

Maybe someone has an idea or probably the same problem and can help me
out.

Best regards and thanks in advance!

Roberto,

For testing purposes you can remove or disable the "FBA: Driver Signing" component in your build and see if it makes any difference.

Another thing you can try is to set the following value in TD:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing],"Policy"= hex:00.
