Installing AVG 6.0 Free Anti-Virus - Error message

Hi,

Am trying to install the above program, but keep getting the following error
message:

16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

Tried re-installing the autoexec.nt file from my XP disc (as outlined in
article KB285194 on Microsoft Help and Support), but I'm still getting the
same problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Not sure how to run this... since I haven't been able to install the original
file, hwo would I go about installing the update? Is that even possible?

I finally found an answer! Go here and follow the instructions (delete
windupdate and install the xp_fix)
