Installed new Ms Office suite, which included Ms Office outlook.

Ms Oulook will not popup or install, use AOL as my isp, dial-up 56K
connection, have existing Yahoo & msn mail accounts.

Also use I.E. 6.0, which has outlook express, outlook express can not send
outgoing messages.

How can I get Office Outlook to right configuration?

How do I get to configuration screen in outlook.

At the moment looks like their is some kind of conflict, don't know what it
might be, or how to go about resolving it.

I need Outlook setup for work.

Any help appreciated,

Thank You very much,

Paul

What do you mean by "won't install"? If you installed the entire Office
suite, then you must have installed Outlook as well, unless you decided not
to do so with a custom install.

Brian, this is message I receive back, when trying to install Ms Office
Outlook in safemode.

"The connection to microsoft Exchange server is unavailable, Outlook must be
online

or connected to complete this action."

When I click on OK, the general Tab, Microsoft Exchange server - input
imap.uk.aol.com, under mailbox tab input my email address.

"Unable to open your default email folders, The file c:\documents and
settings\p\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.ost is
not an offline folder line."

How do I get around this?

How do I configure Ms. Outlook with my existing ISP AOL, using I.E. 6.0,
have MSN and Yahoo mail.

Thank You, need this as soon as possible pls.

You have an Excahneg account defined in yout mail profile. Open the profile
in Control Panel's Mail applet and remove that account. Add the proper IMAP
account for AOL.
