INSTALLED AN ADDITIONAL HARD DRIVE

D

DAVEL

I INSTALLED AN ADDITIONAL HARD DRIVE ON MY WINDOWS XP
SYSTEM, THE LETTERING DESCRIBING THE DRIVE IS IN BLUE
TYPE INSTEAD OF THE BLACK TYPE THAT DESCRIBES ALL THE
OTHER DRIVES. WHY IS THAT? THE DRIVE INSTALLED AS A NTFS
FILE SYSTEM WHICH IS WHAT I WANTED

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
THANKS

Compression is enabled on that drive. You may have enabled compression when
you formatted the drive.

Right click the drive letter and select Properties. Uncheck the box that
says "Use compression"

oh, and take a look next to your "A" key, theres a button called "Caps lock", hit that once. That should take care of that pesky I CANT SEE MY HD thing you have going on..
