Going to that link, Step 14 in the second set of
instructions... one cannot start a Windows XP
installation that way...

I cannot get the EULA to load, when I follow
instructions, I then go to the cdrom drive letter \i386
\winnt.... files load, then the whole thing freezes up
at "Please wait while Windows copies the setup files"..
or something of that nature... nothing ever happens...
upon reboot, installation begins up to where the EULA
should appear... it cannot find the EULA and the only
option is to hit F3 to exit... any ideas?

Bad CD? Bad drive?
Try the CD in another computer and see if the same thing happens. You
can always back out of the install if it works.
If it works, then it's your drive. If it doesn't, it's the CD.
