I've had xp media center for 2 years now with no problems. I had a crash and
when starting my computer it told me files were missing and it would not boot
into windows. I tried to fix this with windows repair (oem install discs).
even doing this it told me it could not load certain files... I decided
maybe there was an error on that drive so I formatted an old drive and
attempted a new installation using my original oem media center disks. About
20% into installation I got a prompt that files could not be copied b/c they
were not media center compatible (when loading from the media center install
disk?).. The message said I should verify I'm using the right disk and it
said there may be an error with the disk (no scratches or blemishes on
disk).. has anyone had this problem? Please help..
