Installation Incomplete

I have an msi an a error report (which I can email both directly to you) for
an msi that I try running under a local admin account. When I do I get the
message

"The installer was interrupted before "NameOfMyProject" could be installed.
You need to restart the installer to try again.

Now when i run this msi under my domain account which just like the local
admin is a member of the local administrators group. Everything runs just
fine.

I have another administrator (who is a member of the local administrators
group just like the above two accounts) who when he logs into the server to
run the msi he gets the same message as the local admin does. But when he
logs into any other machine he can run the msi just fine.

I can log onto another machine as a local admin and the msi runs just fine.
So the only time it works on the server is when I log into the server with
MY domain account and run the msi.

Any thoughts as to why? Again if someone from M$ would like me to email my
files directly to them I would be more than willing to....as for now here
is the log file created using MSIEXEC /i /l*v.

Thanks for your post. As I understand, the problem your are facing is it
fails to install an MSI package on a specific system with a set of
accounts. Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding. I reviewed
the log carefully, and now I'd like to share the following information with
you:

I noticed that the error was caused by the failure of executing a customer
action DIRCA_CheckFX. Please refer to the following snippet from the log.

I'd like to check the following issue:

1. Verify that the SYSTEM Account has Full control to the Tempoary folder.
2. Make sure that a proper version of .NET Framework is installed on the
target machine.

If the problem persists, I think more information is needed before moving
forward:

Please use Filemon and Regmon tools to track the files and registry keys
accessed during installation. These tools are from www.sysinternals.com.

That custom action is that one that the setup project supplies - Visual
Studio adds it to the MSI file. These errors have been seen before, and
unfortunately the code in DIRCA_CheckFX is just a black box of MS code that
really should supply some reason why it's failing.
