Installation fails with error 0x80070070 files not available.

Hi,

I am trying to install vista from 5cds supplied by MS Technet.

I originally started the process as an upgrade from XP which appeared to run
ok but upon re-boot I was greated with a stop error.
I tried the obvious, start in safe mode, but was told, "install cannot
complete in safe mode, please re-boot."

I again recieved the stop error. In my frustration I deleted and recreated
my partition and booted from cd1.

Now as I run through the disk shuveling process I receive an error
0x80070070. I have tried the install this way three times and receive the
error at different points in the disk read process.

I believe the error reads "0x80070070 Not all files are available, please
ensure all files are available.."

When I ran the install from xp it copied all files fine and proceeded
throught the extracting files stage ect.

My drive setup is

1x Physical 75GB. 1x logical 45GB c: and 1x 30GB d: I am installing to d:
as I have xp on c:

Anyone come across this problem?

It might be relevant so I will add it.

My C drive has minimal free space, 200meg ish
My D drive is blank.

Solved it.

Cleared a gig and a bit on the c drive and the install completed no
problems.
