Install problems

I have botched the install on Outlook 2007, and cannot seem to recover. I am
running Windows Vista Basic, and it is a new install. I have been using
Outlook for many years. I need to configure Outlook for MS Exchange. I
downloaded the software (not an upgrade) from my Exchange provider. The
install did not go well, and now I cannot open Outlook. I have un-installed
and reinstalled, several times. I went to the registry and removed some data
that comes up every time I open Outlook -- that was the true server ID and my
mbx name. That was not successful. I think I need to "completely" remove
outlook, but do not know how to do that. If there is a better recommendion,
I am all ears. Otherwise, can you assist me with how to completely remove,
in order to begin the installation again?

Hi Robert,

I have made a few attempts at following your suggestion, and it is still not
working for me. I posted to more questions, relating to the various methods
I have tried. I remain stuck. Can you possibly provide me with further
clues?

Cheers,

John

Hi Robert,

Can I possibly refer you to two further posts I made on this issue?

"Trying to use outlook profile helper to set up Outlook 2007" and "Trying to
use Microsoft Outlook 2007 AutoConnect". Both of these posts, on 1/28 detail
(I believe) what I have attempted, and where I was stuck.

Thanks.

John
