I am running windows xp, my pc is saying that I am not
running xp and will not finish the install. Help!!
I have a bug. Trying to kill it

Can you cite the error message more accurately?

You may well need to get the machine clean(er) before being able to install.

Is this issue happening in the Windows Genuine Validation part of the
download process?

If so---please simply choose not to validate at this time.

To check if your system's ok:

1. go to my computer
2. Right-click on "Local Drive C:
3, Go to properites (excuse the spelling)
4. Click the tools tab
5. under error checking tab, click "Check Now"
***Note If it sends you a message about checking on next
reboot click yes
6. restart computer
7. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! (error checking takes sevral
minutes.
***Note after error checking is complete. your PC will
automatically reboot
8. re-download Anti-Spyware beta1
9. Try re-installing beta1
