install.exe

K

kschultz

When I boot my computer I am getting the following
messages:

Windows cannot find 'D:\install.exe'. Make sure you typed
the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a
file, click the Start button, and then click search.

The next message is:

Could not load or run 'D:\install.exe' specified in the
registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or
remove the reference to it in the registry.

Any ideas?

Go to run type msconfig, go to startup tab look for the D:\install.exe and
uncheck it, if it is not there go to start all programs startup and if there
right click and hit delete,.it should be in one of these places, if not it
might be a virus.
