Install digitally signed driver

I am trying to install an updated driver for my modem
that, when I get to the window for defining the location
of the configuration (inf) file, XP advises the driver
is "DIGITALLY SIGNED" ... and will not let me finish the
process.

What can I do to get beyond this blockage?

Open System Control panel, click Hardware, then Driver Signing and
then change action from Block to Warn. It will then you allow you to
install unsigned drivers.
