install Access 2002 on top of Office 2003 (with access)

I need to install access 2002 on top of Office 2003, running access 2003. (We
had problems with our db running 2003). Normally, I'd de-install 2003
completely, then install all but access 2003, then install access 2002. But
these computers were burned with an image at the factory.
Does anyone know if I can I just install access 2002 on top of office 2003
without de-installing 2003?
Thanks for any help.I don't want to experiment with this!

Yes, you can. You may have a few minor problems to work out, but it's
generally not too bad. One that comes to mind is the linked table manager not
working. You can find details on how to fix this here (see the last download
in the list):

What kind of problems did you have with your database running under A2003?
