Instaling xp professional

I´m upgrading my windows 98 to XP professional, but when I
run the setup the system says that cannot pursue the
setup, ask me to contact the tecnical support and gives
the following error code: 5DDFF58h or 5ABFF58h.

As anyone knows how to solve this problem ?

As part of the upgrade to XP you should have run the Upgrade Advisor. Doing
so will result in your getting a list of incompatible software and hardware.
Do it - and then tell us what you found.

As Jerry said, run the upgrade compatibility utility and take whatever
actions are required so that your system is compatible.

Run the MS WinXP Upgrade Advisor BEFORE attempting to upgrade your system.
It will identify any anticipated problem areas that you'd need to address
prior to successfully upgrading to WinXP.

to get this free utility.
