instaling/updating new S3G CLE266 graphics drivers w/o using TD

I have a VIA M10000 I've been doing builds for.

I wanted to know if I can install the new S3G CLE266 graphics drivers on the
XPe build by logging in with administrator privliges, deleting the old
drivers using add/remove programs from the control pannel, rebooting and
then running the S3G install program? I have already done
ewfmgr -commitanddisable and rebooted and checked to make sure the EFW state
was diabled.

If the new drivers work I will use the .inf file and incorporte them into
TD.

Also, does anyone have experice with installing a DVD decorder in XPe?
Which one worked for you and how did you figure out how to install it?

Thanks

If you have drivers, than you can always update them, probably without
uninstalling them.
I would try with Device Manager, or devcon. Also if you have setup wizard
for your drivers, and you have large build (enough components to support
wizard) you can use it to install driver, as you would on XP.

Do you mean DVD Recorder?

I have tested my regular image on device with DVD Rec and I have not added
anything extra only CD support. It was recognized (at least it read CD).
If you need to use it for writing DVD's. Then you will probably need third
party DVD recording software.
