Inspiron 7500 Keyboard/Mouse Problem

(Win98)

Some of the keys are stuck on the keyboard
and sometime the touch pad is not found
on startup (external mouse won't work either).

Could the bad keyboard interfere with the
touchpad operation?

I can buy a replacement keyboard.
but am wondering how difficult is it to replace
and if it will resolve my touchpad problem too.

Alceryes

Most laptops allow you to plug in an external KB and mouse. Try that and see
if things clear up.
