Inserting video files into slides

D

Dave

I'm currently trying to incorporate video files (.mov) into my ppt
slides.. However, when I try to insert the file all I get is a blank
insert box! If copy the file into the slide, I then have to open the
quicktime player and then start the video... It works but I'm try to
get the file to open automatically upon slide selection... Any help
would be appreciated... Thanks, Dave

Hello Dave,

You can try the following,
1. Embed your quicktime .mov file in a web page
for example: <embed src="sample.mov" width="320" height="256"></embed>
2. Insert the web page into your powerpoint presentation using Shyam
Pillai's live web addin.
