Inserting Text Fields

When inserting more than one text field in a row/table, the font changes on
the second, third, etc text fields. e.g. when entering a date with /
separating the text fields the first field (set to arial font) remains arial
but when tabbing to the next field, the font changes.

Are you typing the information or cutting and pasting the information?

If typing, I would make sure that the "Table Grid" style is modified to the
font you want. If that doesn't work, complete your entries, select the
entire table and set the font for the entire table.

If cutting and pasting, when you go to paste, go the "Edit/Paste Special"
and then select "Unformatted Text" and the text you are pasting will come in
with your default font. Unfortunately, you have to do this individually each
time you paste. I have tried putting this procedure in a macro, but it does
not retain the "Paste Special/Unformatted" procedure and siimply pastes the
item in, which lead you back to your original problem.

Good luck!

Search within this newsgroup for "paste unformatted" and QAT and my
name and maybe a month ago, and you should get Greg Maxey's macro for
doing that, plus instructions for making it a button on your QAT.

I have tried both. Nothing works. When typing in 05/12/09 the 05 stays
arial but then the rest of the date turns to Times New Roman (or something
similar). It's like it's a bug or something. If you type in the "09" field
first - it stays arial and then the 12 & 05 turn to a different font. Very
strange. Never had this issue in 2003.
