Inserting signature with information

I am using OS XP, Outlook 2007; I scanned my business card as a jpg and am
using it as my signature-I copy/pasted it in the "edit" box , but I've
noticed when some reply, I see the red x, I guess this means they are not
seeing the card.

Is there a way to insert an alternative signature if someone is not using
the same format?

Or is it better I just attach the business card. If so, is there a way to
customize the business card to show my company card? I don't like the default
card I see when I click business card preview.

Thanks for your help in advance.
